Tengo mucho tiempo intentando hacer una actualización a mi computador, actualmente tengo una modesta y viejita, pero fue fiel a mis necesidades, pero ya era hora de subir de nivel, después de tantos ahorros durante casi un año para poder lograrlo, hace unos días pude lograr la meta, no fue una decisión fácil, me sentí como Sheldon Cooper cuando iba a comprar su nueva consola, donde estaba indeciso sobre PS4 y Xbox One.
I've been trying for a long time to upgrade my computer, I currently have a modest and old one, but it was faithful to my needs, but it was time to upgrade, after so much saving for almost a year to achieve it, a few days ago I could achieve the goal, it was not an easy decision, I felt like Sheldon Cooper when he was going to buy his new console, where he was undecided between PS4 and Xbox One.
De igual forma me sentí cuando tome la decisión de comprar los componentes para mi nueva computadora, vi muchos videos, leí muchos análisis y revisados, simplemente para tomar una decisión con respecto al procesador, al final me decidí por AMD, a pesar de que la decisión está entre dos compañías es difícil tomar una decisión con relación entre precio y prestaciones, en este caso quería irme por un procesador de gama media, mi decisión estaba entre un Intel Core I5 10400 y un Ryzen 5 5600G, ambos excelentes procesadores, pero me la pusieron difícil a la hora de elegir.
In the same way I felt when I made the decision to buy the components for my new computer, I watched many videos, read a lot of analysis and reviews, just to make a decision regarding the processor, in the end I decided for AMD, although the decision is between two companies is difficult to make a decision with relation between price and performance, in this case I wanted to go for a mid-range processor, my decision was between an Intel Core I5 10400 and a Ryzen 5 5600G, both excellent processors, but they made it difficult for me to choose.
Aunque ambos procesadores poseen la misma cantidad de núcleos e hilos y, aun con una diferencia de precios de 100 dólares aproximados, decidí permitirme gastar esos dólares extras por tener un procesador con unas características un poquito mejores, como la velocidad del procesador, y el caché que es un poco más grande, también tome en cuenta el proceso de fabricación que es la mitad que la competencia de Intel que tenía en mente, todo eso me llevo a tomar la decisión de inclinarme por AMD.
Although both processors have the same amount of cores and threads and, even with a price difference of approximately 100 dollars, I decided to allow myself to spend those extra dollars to have a processor with a little better features, such as the processor speed, and the cache that is a little bigger, I also took into account the manufacturing process that is half that of the Intel competition I had in mind, all that led me to make the decision to go for AMD.
Lamentablemente, tuve unos problemas con las memorias que compre, ya que de una u otra manera tienen cierta incompatibilidad con el perfil XMP de la motherboard que adquirí, la cual tuve que recortar el presupuesto para ella porque me había gastado mucho más en el procesador, esta es de gama de entrada, pero se ajusta a mis necesidades, puesto que no planeo hacer OC ni nada por el estilo.
Unfortunately, I had some problems with the memory I bought, since in one way or another they have some incompatibility with the XMP profile of the motherboard I bought, which I had to cut the budget for it because I had spent much more on the processor, this is entry-level, but it fits my needs, since I don't plan to do OC or anything like that.
Al igual que las memorias, que por más que quise abaratar costos en ellas, me toco desembolsar unos dólares por un cambio a unas de mejor calidad debido al problema antes mencionado, sin embargo, sé que este nuevo computador me regalara muchas horas de trabajo y diversión, y aunque quizás en otros países, para muchos el presupuesto invertido no fue tanto, en Venezuela, por otro lado, es mucho trabajo para lograr permitirnos estos caprichos de vez en cuando.
As with the memory, even though I wanted to cut costs on them, I had to pay a few dollars for a change to a better quality due to the problem mentioned above, however, I know that this new computer will give me many hours of work and fun, and although perhaps in other countries, for many the budget invested was not so much, in Venezuela, on the other hand, it is a lot of work to afford these treats from time to time.
Con respecto a la tarjeta gráfica aún conservaré mi Msi 1060 de 6 GB, ya que no alcanza el presupuesto para mejorarla, aún es una buena gráfica, sé que en conjunto con el nuevo procesador se llevaran bien incluso con el cuello de botella que existirá entre ambos, espero próximamente poder adquirir quizás una 3060, pero también sé que pasaran muchos meses para que eso suceda.
Regarding the graphics card I will still keep my Msi 1060 6GB, as the budget is not enough to improve it, it is still a good graphics, I know that in conjunction with the new processor will get along well even with the bottleneck that will exist between the two, I hope soon to be able to acquire perhaps a 3060, but I also know that it will take many months for that to happen.
