That computer is running with only 2GB of RAM in single channel mode. Adding a second 2GB stick would allow it to handle windows better and also allow it to run in dual channel mode.

if it is working with only one ram slot, the ideal way to improve it is to work dual to improve its performance with windows. thanks for your suggestion.
