TV Xiaomi Mi P1 experiencia de compra y reseña [SPA/ENG]

Saludos Geeks que gusto poder compartir con ustedes nuevamente detalles de mi vida como amante de la tecnología. Está ocasión se trata de un unboxing especial, así como leen en el título la comprar de un nuevo TV, que llevo esperando desde hace mucho por el tiempo que tomo reunir el dinero para comprarlo, ya que apartar dinero mientras se cubren los gastos de necesidades con un Hive a tan bajo precio, extendió el proceso.

This time it is a special unboxing, as you read in the title, the purchase of a new TV, which I've been waiting for a long time because of the time it took to raise the money to buy it, since setting aside money while covering the costs of needs with a Hive at such a low price, extended the process.

Nunca pensé que comprar una TV sería una necesidad, porque es un modo de entretenimiento para grandes y chicos, es esa ventana a nuestro mundo tecnológico que no puede faltar en el hogar, además de poder presenciar lo que ocurre en el mundo a través de noticias y otros programas informativos, aunque, ya los canales tradicionales estén desapareciendo. El asunto es que en casa siempre hemos tenido dos TV, y eso me parece suficiente, uno de uso familiar ubicado en el sitio de mayor concurrencia de todos los miembros de la familia, en nuestro caso la cocina.

I never thought that buying a TV would be a necessity, because it is a way of entertainment for young and old, it is that window to our technological world that cannot be missing at home, besides being able to witness what is happening in the world through news and other informative programs, although, the traditional channels are disappearing. The thing is that at home we have always had two TVs, and that seems to me enough, one for family use located in the place of greatest concurrence of all family members, in our case the kitchen.

El otro está en mi habitación, pero casi no lo uso, mi esposa ase apoderó de él jeje, así que los niños y yo vemos en la cocina, pero lamentablemente nuestro tv empezó a dañarse. Por ser una marca poco común en el país, no he podido encontrar los componentes para arreglarlo, debido a que ese Tv lo traje por Amazon hace 7 años, así que podríamos decir que nos ha dado suficiente horas de entretenimiento e información, sin embargo, un Tv puede durar mucho más, pero la falla sigue empeorando y con el paso del tiempo mientras reuníamos para otro, solo pedimos a Dios que no se dañara por completo mientras lográbamos la meta.

The other one is in my room, but I hardly use it, my wife took it over hehe, so the kids and I watch in the kitchen, but unfortunately our tv started to get damaged. Being a rare brand in the country, I have not been able to find the components to fix it, because that Tv I got it from Amazon 7 years ago, so we could say that it has given us enough hours of entertainment and information, however, a Tv can last much longer, but the failure keeps getting worse and as time went by while we gathered for another one, we just prayed to God that it would not be completely damaged while we achieved the goal.

Mientras reuníamos, nuestra primera meta era comprar uno de 32 pulgadas, ya que dónde vivimos es un espacio muy reducido, por eso en el pasado jamás consideramos comprar uno de mayor tamaño, aunque ganas no nos faltaron. Pero a medida que lográbamos la meta de dinero, surgía una oferta de otro Tv cercano a lo recaudado y decíamos que podíamos esperar un poco más para aumentar los fondos, hasta que en un punto nos dijimos que podíamos comprar uno más grande y que podríamos colocarlo colgado en la pared de forma ajustable para no afectar nuestro espacio.

Fue así que la espera se extendió por 6 meses, si desde enero de este año estamos como familia reuniendo para esto, pero también tuvimos que lidiar con otros gastos prioritarios que afectaron el presupuesto, o la bajada del Hive que era uno de los principales proveedores de fondos, pero esa historia ya la conocen, la realidad es que por momento me sentí como en la película de Up cuando los Fredricksen reunían para cataras del paraíso, pero el dinero se usaba para otras necesidades.

As we were raising money, our first goal was to buy a 32-inch TV, since where we live is a very small space, so in the past we never considered buying a larger one, although we were eager to do so. But as we reached the money goal, an offer came up for another TV close to the amount raised and we said we could wait a little longer to increase the funds, until at one point we said we could buy a bigger one and that we could place it hanging on the wall in an adjustable way so as not to affect our space.
So the wait was extended for 6 months, yes since January of this year we are as a family gathering for this, but we also had to deal with other priority expenses that affected the budget, or the lowering of the Hive which was one of the main providers of funds, but that story you already know, the reality is that for a moment I felt like in the movie Up when the Fredricksen gathered for cataras of paradise, but the money was used for other needs.

Pese a los obstáculos logramos amasar una cantidad de dinero, y nos hicimos par de preguntas, la primera ¿qué marca comprar? Ya tengo varios días probando la TV, no quería hacer una reseña apresurada, quiero dar una opinión objetiva de lo que me ha gustado, y lo que no. Resolución, angulo de visión y tipo de pantalla

Lo primero que debo resaltar es la resolución, su pantalla ofrece resolución 4K HDR+ pero a 60 fps, no como otros TV de un costo más elevado que ofrecen 120 fps. El panel o pantalla es del tipo VA y no IPS, no es que sea malo, pero los ángulos de visión no serán los mejores, y eso si es un punto negativo, me hubiera gustado que fuese IPS pero recordemos que la marca Xiaomi se caracteriza por ofrecer productos competitivos a menor costo.

Acabados económicos con un buen control remoto

Con respecto a los acabados, son bastantes básicos, sin detalles metálicos como los de otros tv de otras marcas, todo es de plástico, lo bastante resistente a mi parecer. La pantalla prácticamente no tiene bordes, solo se nota el inferior donde por debajo tenemos el botón de encendido, pero sin alguno de navegación, pero con un pequeño interruptor para activar el reconocimiento de voz para el asistente de Google.

En cuanto al control me gustó mucho la conectividad sea por Bluetooth, creo que la mayoría de los Tv actuales utilizan está tecnología haciendo a un lado el infrarrojo. El control o mando es bastante completo, tiene solo dos botones para acceso directo a aplicaciones como Netflix y YouTube, los demás como de cualquier otro TV con el tipico circulo para navegación con el ok en el centro, e incluye micrófono para reconocimiento de voz del asistente de Google.

1070 millones de colores

Un punto súper interesante y confieso que no lo supe hasta que ya lo tenía conmigo es que es capaz de manejar hasta el 94% de la gama de colores DCI-P3, que según el fabricante son 1070 millones de colores, esto es bastante bueno y es una característica que solo los TV de gama alta tiene. Para los que no entienden que significa esto es básicamente el estándar de colores actual, por el cual todo aquel que desarrolle un juego, filme una película, y cree un dibujo animado, debe hacerlo con la configuración de la paleta de colores de este estándar, o bien podría usar el sRBG que aun algunos Tv utilizan.

¿Brillo e iluminación cuestionables?

En cuanto al brillo de este Tv es uno de los puntos que me preocupaba, en algunas reseñas pude leer que Xiaomi no incluía las especificaciones de cuantos nits puede alcanzar, y efectivamente en su sitio oficial no estaba la información presente, pero luego de probarlo en un espacio cerrado, no resulto ser para nada un problema, de hecho encontré entre los ajuste un control de luma adaptativo que expande el contraste y se logra tonos más oscuros en zonas de bajo contraste sacrificando un poco los tonos en blanco, lo que para mi esta bien porque no soporto el brillo en exceso.

As for the brightness of this Tv is one of the points that worried me, in some reviews I could read that Xiaomi did not include the specifications of how many nits it can reach, and indeed in its official site was not present information, but after testing it in an enclosed space, it turned out not to be a problem at all, in fact I found among the adjustment an adaptive luma control that expands the contrast and darker tones are achieved in areas of low contrast sacrificing a little white tones, which for me is fine because I can not stand the brightness in excess.

El ajuste de brillos me gusto mucho la independencia que tiene para controlar el back ligth y el brillo de la pantalla. Con el primer control manejas la iluminación de dos tiras de leds que están a los costados del televisor, que cumplen la función de retro iluminación y que separan del brillo de la imagen, lo que es perfecto para poder utilizarlo a oscuras y no quedar siego en el intento, aunque si eres un pro en el seteo de televisores, este equipo también cuenta con balance de blancos de 11 puntos, lo que es brutal también para ajustar la iluminación de la pantalla, pero esto es otro nivel.

El punto que me hizo decidirme por comprar esta TV fue que posee un puerto HDMI 2.1 o eARC que es un puerto de alta velocidad y baja latencia para el gaming, ya que planeo en un futuro no muy lejano poder conectarlo a una consola de ultima generación, y aunque no podre obtener gráficos con 120 fps, igual las consolas operan en 60 fps. Otro gran detalle es la opción de Dolby Vision que es una belleza para los servicios de streaming como Disney+, pero también con los video juegos es posible disfrutar de este ajuste de imagen.

Gran velocidad de su sistema operativo ante otras marcas

La velocidad del sistema, la respuesta entre aplicaciones y opciones es bárbara, probando otros Tvs sin duda en este vi una gran diferencia, y todo se trata de la optimización del sistema con relación a los recursos, porque todo los tv que probe de esta gama, en general cuentan con procesadores y GPU muy buenas, pero todo al final se reduce a utilizar y optimizar los recursos para el software y note mayor fluidez en el Xiaomi por encima del Samsung AU7000 que pude probar.

Este Samsung no fue el único que puse a prueba como comparación, que por cierto su precio estaba por encima del Xiaomi y por eso no era opción, pero también pude probar un Hisense quantum dot 50h8g 4k ULED que es una completa locura de lo bueno que es, es el TV que compite perfectamente con los Samsung y LG en calidad de imagen, y para quienes no saben esta marca es de renombre mundial, hablando de mundial, fueron los principales patrocinantes del mundial de futbol pasado.

Se preguntarán ¿entonces si es tan bueno, porque no compraste el Hisense? Porque la utilidad principal que tendrá el TV es gaming, y el Xiaomi viene mejor optimizado para eso, y por otro lado el ver series y películas en contenido HDR+ no es sencillo si tu servicio de internet no es lo suficientemente bueno, en mi caso lo es pero el ancho de banda esta muy comprometido, así que no será mi principal fuente de disfrute, pero estoy muy contento con la compra, esta bastante balanceado en cuanto a opciones, que pueden ser mucho mejor, pero son suficientes para lo que se compró.
