Greetings, greetings, people of the multiverse! And I’m not talking about the DC or Marvel Studios world, of course not—maybe Meta, but no, that's still in development according to its owners. Well, internet users of some universe, I wanted to talk a bit about my thoughts on this topic and what I’ve seen happening, and it seems this is the place to do it.

This isn't about supporting piracy, but rather focusing ideas on what I've observed and feel is currently taking place.

According to this website, which dedicates itself to reporting on digital pirate activity, the increase began with the pandemic: MUSO Report Link.

Wait, wait, but this makes total sense! Everyone was at home with nothing to do, with no better options than the thousands of paid streaming apps available in the market. If you wanted to watch a series, you had to pay for Netflix. If you wanted a movie premiere, HBO Max. If you wanted princess stories, Disney. And BAMMMM! In an instant, you're paying money for every streaming service. And what if that platform doesn't have the movie you want? You have to go and pay for another one that does, which quickly becomes a massive annoyance.

What happened before? If you wanted to watch something, you had to download suspicious apps, full of viruses, torrents, and more things, just to pray the file would work so you could watch the movie—it was torture. Yes, I did that as a child; I had no idea what copyright or piracy was when I got my first computer ☠️.

When Netflix arrived, it seemed like everything would change. Now you had an app where, with two clicks, you could put the series you wanted on your TV. Having this wonderful option instantly, with varied content to watch, made piracy senseless. I was saving myself thousands of steps, thousands of downloads of weird files and viruses, all with one subscription payment. It truly felt like the end of piracy.

$1

But, if everything seemed to be for the best, what happened? Why did piracy return? What caused something that seemed dead to be reborn?

As I said before, having to pay for 5–10 subscriptions just to watch different content is what resurrected piracy. That's right: the streaming companies themselves, with their greed, gave power back to piracy. They could have united to offer the public a varied catalog, providing comfort and ease of access to everything with a single app and a single subscription payment. But the greed and ego of each company owner killed that possibility.

Why would I pay around $100 a month for five streaming apps if I can get everything on one pirate app without paying? Crucially, I have all the content in one place. I don't need multiple apps to watch content from different companies. Piracy gave the user the convenience that streaming companies refused to provide.

If you look at blogs about these companies, you'll see how almost 80% of comments support watching content illegally rather than paying for thousands of subscriptions. And it’s not so much about seeing it for free, but more about punishing the companies for their greed.

Do you think the streaming universe will ever do the right thing and consider giving the consumer what they want, or will they continue to accrue debt and seek their own benefit at the consumer's expense?

$1

https://pixabay.com/photos/pirate-movie-caribbean-bandit-1105787/

Yes you are right sometime it is very annoying to watch particular movie and you didn't find it in the app where you have taken the subscription then again you have to take a new subscription for that particular movie that's why piracy is everywhere and its all a lot of things. You don't need anything or any suspicion for that you just I have to watch two or three ads file downloading a movie or any particular season and that's it you have anything and your mobile or laptop you just have to enjoy it now.

Yes and one more thing you should try to use @ecency for posting that can give you some extra rewards for using their website or application if you are posting fire that particular platform then you might get some extra perks.

Netflix said they would never have ads, but look at them now. Like all apps, besides paying for the subscription, you have to watch ads. The current situation makes no sense.

Thanks for that advice. I don't know what "ecency" is, but I'll look into it. Thanks for every tip you give me; you're wonderful.
