Review: Havit HD Pro Webcam HV-HN12G (ENG/ESP)
Greetings friends of Geek Zone I have returned once again to share with you a technological equipment that has become everyday in these times of pandemic, yes, I'm talking about a webcam, specifically the Havit HD Pro Webcam HV-HN12G. The curious thing is that this webcam came to my hands as a gift from a client of my radio program so I did not know its price, however, I was able to find out that it has a cost, here in Venezuela, between 20 and 25 US dollars.
Havit is a technology company from Guangzhou, China, dedicated to putting computer and gaming accessories on the market. They have all the ranges of their products, but in my country, Venezuela, you can only get those that correspond to the low range at quite affordable prices.
Saludos amigos de Geek Zone he vuelto una vez más para compartir con ustedes un equipo tecnológico que se ha vuelto cotidiano en estos tiempos de pandemia, sí, hablo de una webcam, en específico de la Havit HD Pro Webcam HV-HN12G. Lo curioso es esta webcam llegó a mis manos como un regalo de un cliente de mi programa de radio por lo que no sabía su precio, sin embargo, pude averiguar que tiene un costo, aquí en Venezuela, de entre 20 y 25 dólares americanos.Havit es una empresa del sector tecnológico oriunda de Guangzhou, China, se dedican a poner en el mercado accesorios de computación y gaming. Poseen todas las gamas de sus productos, pero en mi país, Venezuela, solo se consiguen aquellos que corresponden a la gama baja a precios bastante accesibles.
Let's start talking about its packaging, a colorful and good quality box, if I saw it in a store window, it would definitely catch my attention. As for the contents of the box, we will only find the camera in a plastic mold to avoid bumps, nothing out of the ordinary but quite practical.
As for how this equipment behaves I must say that although its manufacturer claims that it gives a sharpness of 1080p or standard high definition, what we have to see the images that throws is that even in daylight and with favorable lighting there is a lot of grain which reveals the lack of resolution in the equipment.
Empecemos hablando de su empaque, una caja colorida y de buena calidad, si la viera en la vitrina de una tienda, sin duda, llamaría mi atención. En cuanto al contenido de la caja, solo encontraremos la cámara en un molde de plástico para evitar golpes, nada fuera de lo común pero bastante practico.En cuanto al cómo se comporta este equipo debo decir que a pesar de que su fabricante asegura que da una nitidez de 1080p o alta definición estándar, lo que tenemos a ver las imágenes que arroja es que aún de día y con iluminación favorable hay mucho grano lo que desnuda la falta de resolución en el equipo.
Another feature of this webcam is that it has a built-in microphone which I inadvertently tested while doing my remote radio show from home. Upon entering the transmission platform with the camera connected I could attest that in the absence of a noise reduction process makes it virtually impossible to get good quality audio.
Like most of the current equipment it only needs to be connected to a USB port to work, but it really is a pretty basic equipment, I recommend it for everyday use as causal or work calls, but it would not be bad to support a separate microphone. I bought it to do live broadcasts playing with my Nintendo Switch and I will use it for now, but I will definitely buy something better later.
Otra de las características de esta webcam es que posee un micrófono integrado que probé sin querer mientras hacía mi programa de radio a distancia desde mi hogar. Al entrar en la plataforma de transmisión con la cámara conectada pude atestiguar que ante la ausencia de un proceso de reducción de ruido hace que sea prácticamente imposible obtener un audio de buena calidad.Como la mayoría de los equipos actuales solo requiere de ser conectada a un puerto USB para funcionar, pero realmente es un equipo bastante básico, lo recomiendo para uso cotidiano como llamadas causales o de trabajo, pero no estaría mal apoyarse de un micrófono aparte. La compré para hacer transmisiones en vivo jugando con mi Nintendo Switch y la usaré por ahora, pero sin dudas compraré algo mejor más adelante.
