Review: Aokeo B-7 Pop Filter (ENG/ESP)
I already shared here a review of the Fifine K678 microphone, in fact, I think it was my first post on Hive although I did not upload it to my blog because I did not know how to use the platform well, but that's not what I come to talk about today but a super useful accessory to extend the life of your microphone and at a crazy price.
I'm talking about the Aokeo B-7 pop filter, I must admit that this accessory was a gamble on my part because I was going to buy the same filter, but made especially for my microphone obviously manufactured by FIfine but it was sold out and I had to do a good search to get another option that would work for me.
Ya compartí por aquí una reseña del micrófono Fifine K678, de hecho, creo que fue mi primer post en rigor en Hive aunque no lo subí a mi blog porque no sabía usar la plataforma bien, pero no es eso de lo que les vengo a hablar hoy sino de un accesorio super útil para alargar la vida de tu micrófono y a un precio de locura.
Hablo del filtro pop B-7 de Aokeo, debo admitir que este accesorio fue una apuesta de mi parte porque iba a comprar el mismo filtro, pero hecho especialmente para mi micrófono obviamente manufacturado por FIfine pero se agotó y tuve que hacer una buena búsqueda para conseguir otra opción que me funcionara.
Aokeo is a brand of American audio equipment, is based in Los Angeles, California and according to their website they manufacture all their equipment, in any case I received a gear that seems well built and fits almost perfectly with my Fifine K678 microphone. The best thing is its price, about 8 U.S. dollars, well below the $ 15 worth the same filter made by FIfine.
Its box is striking and made of cardboard, it does not need to stand out much. Inside the box we will find a B-7 pop filter in its bag, and a card with the warranty information, just enough and necessary, nothing out of the ordinary but really, as I said, you don't need a great presentation for a filter at that price.
Aokeo es una marca de equipos de audio estadounidense, se radica en Los Ángeles, California y según su pagina web ellos fabrican todos sus equipos, en todo caso recibí un equipo que parece de buena construcción y que ajusta casi perfectamente con mi micrófono Fifine K678. Lo mejor es su precio, unos 8 dólares americanos, muy por debajo de los 15 dólares que vale el mismo filtro hecho por FIfine.
Su caja es llamativa y elaborada en cartón, no necesita destacar mucho. Dentro de la caja encontraremos un filtro pop B-7 en su bolsa, y una tarjeta con la información de la garantía, lo justo y necesario, nada fuera de lo común pero realmente, como dije, no se necesita una gran presentación para un filtro a ese precio.
As for the equipment, as I said, it is not made for my microphone, but it fits well and does its job quite well, looks good, is of good materials and most importantly, is responsible for extending the life of the microphone without sacrificing audio quality. Remember that when you talk to the microphone is impossible to prevent your saliva ends up reaching the equipment and eventually that ends up affecting its performance.
I recommend buying it, but first read well if it is compatible with your microphone model to not go through the bad time of buying something that does not serve you. Its price is unbeatable for a filter with these features and perfectly fulfills its function.
En cuanto al equipo, como dije, no está hecho para mi micrófono, pero se ajusta bien y cumple bastante bien con su trabajo, se ve bien, es de buenos materiales y lo más importante, se encarga de alargar la vida del micrófono sin sacrificar calidad de audio. Recordar que cuando se le habla al micrófono es imposible evitar que tu saliva termine llegando hasta el equipo y con el tiempo eso termina afectando su rendimiento.
Recomiendo comprarlo, pero antes leer bien si es compatible con su modelo de micrófono para no pasar por el mal rato de comprar algo que no te sirve. Su precio es inigualable para un filtro con esas características y cumple perfectamente su función.
