My intention is to create a post with a video to bring you something more educational, and don't worry, it's translated into English!!! Are you ready for this adventure? THEN LET'S FLY xD🤯🐦🐧🦉

ENTONCES VOLEMOS xD 🦅🦆🦜🦢

Very intelligent animals 🦜/ Animales muy inteligentes🙇‍♂️📚

Our experience begins with this cute parrot that was born in the facilities of this park and despite the fact that it is 25 years old, it is considered young because they are animals that can live in captivity for up to 80 years, firstly because they have good hygiene and feeding conditions. that they have no predators! The Amazona amazonica species has a very curious behavior during the day they move in pairs, but when night falls they gather in large groups to protect each other!🦜🦜😨

As you can see, the species is native to South America, very common in urban parks, mangroves, humid forests, wooded savannahs, they can weigh up to 470 grams, they do not have sexual dimorphism, therefore the female and the male are physically the same! and they can only be differentiated with a genetic test of "Sexage" when there are no resources available in the area they end up making great trips in flocks in search of fruits or seeds!📚🦜🍎🍇🥭🍍

Psittacidae are very intelligent birds and as they have a highly developed tongue to feed on fruits and seeds, adding to this they have mobility in the muscles of the trachea and have an organ called "syrinx" all this combined allows them to repeat sounds! YOU DON'T TALK... THEY REPEAT... They can also memorize certain patterns.📚😨📚
NO HABLAS... REPITEN... Ademas pueden memorizar ciertos patrones. 🧠🙇‍♂️😮

A mythical and sacred bird🦅/ Un ave mitica y sagrada🙇‍♂️📚

Our next bird is the sacred ibis, this bird has thousands of years of history and in ancient Egypt it was associated with the rainy season, since when it made its migrations it coincided with the rains, so the Egyptians thought it was a "sign divine" so much so that they created a god with their physical characteristics!🌏🌊💧🕎🛐

This species of bird is endemic to Africa and some areas of the "middle east", it can be seen in mangroves, estuaries, shallow lakes! it is actually a fishing bird and we can see that in its curved beak adapted to hunt fish and molluscs, some capable of capturing amphibians, they are diurnal birds that prefer a sociable life and almost always move in flocks! they can weigh up to a kilo and a half, they are not usually noisy but in the reproductive season the males make very loud sounds!😮🦉🦅

The bird is considered a migratory species within the African continent, they can travel hundreds of kilometers in search of resources! Unlike parrots, some ibis prefer to be in smaller groups, so they can opt for a "gregarious" behavior, that is, small isolated groups!👨‍🎓👨‍🏫👨‍💻

The green-winged macaw is another of the beautiful birds that we could see in the park, these birds are sociable and can live both in pairs and in flocks, they practice monogamy therefore they "marry for life", they have a way of Very noisy communication, they don't mind mixing with other species of macaws... As they say over there, more eyes are better... more protection!!🧠👨‍💻🦅

Bird native to South America, common in humid forests with lowlands, tropical forests and savannahs, can be seen in cities such as in the capital of Venezuela! They can weigh up to 1.7 kilos. They are powerful birds with a beak capable of opening the hardest seeds in the Amazon! her diet is frugivorous and granivorous, she is also monogamous and marries her partner for life!🙋‍♂️📚🙇‍♂️

The eggs are hatched by the female and after hatching they are very dependent on the parents, and as a good teamwork the female never leaves the nest and depends on the male for food! practicing this behavior has its advantages and disadvantages because when a couple dies the next generation is cut off! but taking care of the eggs in this way maximizes the hatching and survival of the chicks until they are adults!😮🧠💞

It is enough to see a bird with a neck and head without feathers to recognize that it is a scavenger, imagine eating rotting meat and dirtying your head? how do you clean yourself with that beak? How do you avoid diseases in your feathers? the answer is a head and neck without feathers! It is a specialist in its food and can be both a scavenger and a hunter, to be more specific a fisherman! There are photographic records of this bird capturing flamingos to feed itself... Wow!😨🧠😮
Wuao!!🤢🤣

This bird was born in the park and has been with the research team for more than 45 years, which is not surprising because its life expectancy is only 15 years! It is common to the African continent and is commonly seen in swampy areas and savannahs, it has adaptations in its legs and its beak that allows them to feel vibrations in the water to detect possible prey. A NATO survivor!😏😱

Hunter Specialist🦜/ Especialistas cazando🙇‍♂️📚

We leave the scavengers and opportunistic birds aside and pass with specialized hunting birds, as you can see these birds do not have eyes like a macaw on the sides of their heads, these birds of prey have their eyes in front of their heads and it allows them to make distance calculations, therefore they usually do not fail when they go in search of prey😱💥💥

You have probably wondered why they are held with leather gloves and it is that few know but the eagles of prey have muscles in their "legs" that have a "safety" mechanism when they close the claws they do not open easily, this is for don't drop your food in flight! so if a bird of prey landed on your arm and activated that mechanism, you would probably have to tear your hand off before it would let you go... Incredible, right?😨😱😱😱
Increible no?🧠🦅🦾🦿

A good company🦜/ Una buena compañia🙇‍♂️📚

They are birds that have been domesticated for many years but in their natural habitat they are threatened due to illegal traffic, cockatoos can be purchased in pet stores and are excellent pets, they are known for that very funny dance they do with their crest, which is a way to woo the female!🤩🤩

Silent birds🦜/ Aves silenciosas🙇‍♂️📚

One of my favorite birds and they are specialists to wear a nocturnal habit! nocturnal birds of prey have a different morphology from the rest of the birds, they have feathers and silent flights adapted not to scare their prey at night! They also have large eyes that allow more light to pass through and can see very well on dark days!🦉🦉

The 'Milvus milvus picture is amazing (that when we see the bird in a kind of attack position, on the glove). It is my preferred one of all the series. I remember having been once to a show shedding light on hunter birds with my kids. These bird were definitely very impressive, and we didn't want to end in their claws.

Enjoy the end of this week!

PS: Will I finally be able to meet you at HiveFest?
