EXTRAPOLATING DATA👨‍💻👨‍💻/EXTRAPOLANDO DATOS1️⃣2️⃣

  • 39 species (11 endemic) (4 introduced) were identified in a random sampling of 6 hours✅

  • 2 new species never sighted were registered in the area of merida (chorotal)✅

  • In areas with fluvial systems (rivers) species different from other areas were recorded✅

  • The areas with 0 level of anthropogenic intervention had a greater number of exotic birds than in the intervened areas.✅

  • The increase in population and livestock exploitation displaces endemic species forced to reduce their habitat✅

  • This project had a single sampling, therefore it is advisable to carry out future work on the studied area, since it shows a potential in exotic wild species✅

  • No invasive species were recorded, which shows that the area has a certain degree of conservation by the inhabitants of the site.✅
