download (2).jpeg

Meter symbols are lights that appears in the meter when the car ignition car is on. The lights has different colors and indicate different things. Some are warnings and some are Indicators.
Let's see some of the lights and what there stand for.
Battery Warning Light

download (1).jpeg

What does it indicates? The battery light come up when the ignition is on , and after starting the car, it goes off. So if the light doesn't go off when the engine is on, it thus indicate that your charging system is not working properly.
The problem mostly come from the alternator, specifically,Diodes and cut out.
So what do you need to do at this point? Park your car and call a mechanic or a Technician for diagnose and repair.
Low Fuel Indicator.

This light normally appears yellow when you fuel is low. So if the light come up as you're driving, you don't need a mechanic at this point, all you need to do is full up your tank at the nearest filling station, and the light will go off.
Oil warning Light.

images (4).jpeg

What does this light indicate? It's indicate that the engine oil is not pumping. In this case you really need to take quick action, because when the engine oil is not pumping, it will have effect in your engine. The light appears red, when ignition is on, and goes off after starting your engine. So if you notice the light is still on when the engine is on, off your car and call a mechanic or a Technician for diagnosis.

Sure, experience shows that most people do not observe symbols when driving. So that's one of the reasons I shared this, because it's necessary
