WHY DO WE LIKE TO PHOTOGRAPH INSECTS?🤩😮

Insects make a good subject for photography. They offer spectacular compositions in a natural way. Both their attractive color combinations with which nature has endowed them and their complexion and physical shape worthy of a science fiction film make insects one of the best subjects a photographer can portray. Photographing insects is interesting, too, in the sense that it turns us into a kind of explorers in search of small expressions of the beauty of this Mother Nature.😊😊

The feeling of returning from a photographic expedition and being able to show the world the look, face, eyes and "armor" of a creature that few have seen is extremely gratifying. They don't have to be rare or endangered species, or insects that no one has seen before. It is enough to get a good portrait of a ladybug or a worker ant at work. Any insect or tiny being is likely to arouse the interest of the viewer.😍😍

I'm going to give you some clue but if you want to do it really well, I recommend you get an insect guide, or one specialized in the insect that interests you, and study a little the behavior, times and places where the type of insects is usually seen. what interests you. If you look on Google or Wikipedia there are a ton of articles on the subject.😮😮

As a starting point I can tell you that dragonflies and bludgeons love water, so if you are interested in portraying them, go to a pond or lake and start from there. On the other hand, butterflies and bees enjoy feeding on flowers so look for them there, in any public park, garden or green area where flowers abound.🙂🙂

Do not think that it will be an easy task to take a good photo the first time. You will have to spend a lot of time chasing them, so have endless patience. Move slowly and try not to make noise. Try to get close to the insects as many times as you need. With a little practice you will see how you improve your technique.🙂🙂
Muévete despacio y procura no hacer ruido.

The normal thing is that the animals move very fast when you least expect it. Therefore, if you are starting out, it is best to start by photographing static or slowly moving insects, such as snails, ladybugs, spiders or caterpillars, so you will have time to change parameters, do tests and make mistakes as many times as possible. necessary until you get a good shot. When you have mastered the technique you can increase the difficulty and dare with flying insects trying to hunt them using high speeds of 1/250 upwards or freezing the movement with the flash.😶

Most of all, i like the bright a vibrant colors of these insects. Colors are always very unique and the patterns are also very lovely.
This is also a good way of appreciating the mother nature and felling close to it by admiring all the creatures that nature has created.
