Yes, there is plenty of food but not enough oxygen. It's like suffocating in front of a rich meal.
Crazy my pond in Poland has its last 10centimers normally half to 1 meter
Hot and dry times. Here these conditions are less unusual in summer, but the few summers before this one were less hot in this period.
