EVENING WITH THE FAIRY

The Pterophorus pentadactyla is a lovely and distinctive moth, very common on the coastal meadows.

I made this video some years ago, in summer, late in the evening when the large open meadows looked like some imaginary landscape and this moth like a fairy.

Haha that is a cool one and definitely like a fairy. Most up here are brown and unspectacular.

Looking at the little snow outside, makes me miss summer already!

Thanks :) That dim evening light made the moth look like some ghost or fairy even more than usual, especially when flying. I miss the summer too ... very soon after the summer ends.
