It's been a long time since I've shared insect findings in this community. On this occasion I would like to share some pictures of beautiful little moths I caught yesterday in the grass.

The little moth I mean is Hypena obacerralis, this moth from the family Erebidae can be found in Africa and Southeast Asia. Characteristically, this moth is small in size with a combination of several brown colors, it looks very attractive on its light brown wings and wing tips that have brown and white patterns.

Hola fascinante amante de los insectos. Hace mucho tiempo que no comparto fotos de insectos en esta comunidad. Bueno, en esta ocasión les quiero compartir algunas fotos de hermosas polillas que atrapé ayer en el pasto. La pequeña polilla a la que me refiero es Hypena obacerralis, esta polilla de la familia Erebidae se puede encontrar en África y el sudeste asiático. Característicamente, esta polilla es de tamaño pequeño con una combinación de varios colores marrones, se ve muy atractiva en sus alas de color marrón claro y las puntas de las alas que tienen patrones marrones y blancos.

Then there is also a moth with a long white snout, the Scirpophaga moth belonging to the Crambidae family. Overall this moth has a white color with both brown eyes accompanied by a black dot on the tip of its wings.

Luego también hay una polilla con un largo hocico blanco, la polilla Scirpophaga perteneciente a la familia Crambidae. En general, esta polilla tiene un color blanco con ambos ojos marrones acompañados de un punto negro en la punta de sus alas.
