Junonia orithya - Blue Pansy Butterfly
Today I have macro images that I want to share here. This is Junonia orithya sp., a nymphalid butterfly whose habitat is distributed in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Australia, and Africa.
There is nothing special about this butterfly if it closes its wings. The underside of the wings is pale light brown with stripes. The beautiful side is only seen when it spreads its wings. Yup, the upper sides of the wings are black, blue and cream. It's a beautiful color combination.
