As a result of my observations, some species of spiders are commonly kept as pets by spider enthusiasts, particularly macro photographers. This spider, sometimes known as the "heavy jumper" or the "heavy jumping spider," is easily accessible in Indonesian online shops.

By coincidence, I found a Heavy Jumper crawling on my backpack this afternoon. When compared to jumping spiders from other genera, this one is rather huge.

It is golden yellow and has hairs that virtually cover its entire body, indicating that it is a Hyllus diardi spider species. Walkenaer was the first to describe this species in 1837.

I'm also inclined to believe this is a female. What does the physical appearance of the male Hyllus diardi resemble? It's in my last post.

Saya juga cenderung percaya ini adalah perempuan. Seperti apa penampilan fisik Hyllus diardi jantan? Ada di postingan saya sebelumnya.

That's my explanation; if you have any additional knowledge regarding Hyllus diardi or the Hyllus genus, I'd be delighted to hear from you in the comments section. Thank you.

Saludos.

Hello, due to an accident with one of them since I was a child I was afraid of spiders (beyond the fact that it is one of the most common phobias and it even seems that it is part of our evolution as a species...). Thank God through the study of Nature they seem less threatening to me, especially those photos that you speak of in which they show their faces. In that sense they even seem nice.
I read somewhere that Aristotle said or thought something like: "It is childish to reject the study of lower animals with disgust. Everything natural is wonderful": luckily I am less and less afraid of them. ..
Greetings.

Jumping spiders, as far as I can tell, are not the type of spider you should be terrified of because they are human-friendly.

Thank you for your kind words, my friend.🙂
