Fascinating Insects: Copulation of Two Robber Flies

While hunting for insect photography yesterday, I saw a rare sight I had never seen before. I saw a pair of robber flies enjoying their copulation.
The mating process of robber fly mates is very unique, according to an article published by entnemdept.ufl.edu (UF | IFAS, University of Florida), robber flies have minimal courtship behavior.
When the male wants to give up his lust for the female, he will pounce on the female as he does his prey. After that, copulation is carried out, the male will insert his genitals into the female's genitals in a tail-to-tail fashion. After that, the two of them will turn their backs to each other. What is unique, they can do it while flying, moving from one plant to another.
