Carabao Bug in Sumatra
These pics were taken recently in North Aceh. This is a planthopper species (Leptocentrus taurus) in the family Membracidae, also known as the "eggplant horned planthopper."
This kind of leafhopper is also prevalent in Guam, according to an item I read in the Membracoidea of the World Database, where it is known as the "carnbao bug."
When seen from the dorsal side, the horns of the planthopper form a "T" shape. However, when viewed from the front, it resembles carabao horns.
In Guam, the term "Carnbao bug" is commonly used, but it's possible that the word is misspelled, as the term "carnbao" isn't known, even after I googled it. "carabao bug," I suppose, is the correct term.

This bug looks really interesting... I have never seen such bug before. Amazing photos!
Thanks @karizma. If I'm not mistaken, this is most likely exclusively found in Asia.
