RE: Life In 2030: We Are Going To See Massive Changes

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

Isn't pace of technology progression limited by a pace of adoption which is more linear than exponential on avarage? What I mean is mostly limitation coming from our human biology understood as lower neuroplasticity of older brains. Again, on avarage. We might see greater and greater technological inequalities. That would be very interesting thing to here about.

Great content, I enjoy your podcasts a lot. Cheers!

Technical progress runs at its own pace as does human adoption. That said, they are two separate animals.

For example, the pace towards autonomous vehicles is exclusive of people's adoption of them. They are in development. Certainly regulation and other factors will come into play when they are ready but that is not going to hinder the technological progress/improvements.

The one factor that we could point to is funding. That is one of the reasons why so many are misreading what is taking place. They use age old principles to determine what is going on. Unfortunately for them, it is a new world and ideologies that were, perhaps, valid, 30-40 years ago are no longer true.

In a nutshell, what I am saying is a boatload of money is required to keep up with the technological pace we should be on.
