Serum levels of NGAL and Cystatin C as Markers of Early Kidney Dysfunction in Patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome
This article is a study which establishes an association between higher neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) levels and cystatin C levels and the presence of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). NGAL and cystatin C are markers of latent kidney disease so OSA is related to the pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease
