Today after coming home from dialysis and going straight to the municipal police precinct, my father offered me to eat the left-over cassava that I had yesterday. I ate some of it which I dipped with some sugar. I thought that it would be suffice for my last meal of the day.

After that I felt some sleepiness because I took my Gabapentin to aid me with my body pain issues. It also helps me with sleeping and relaxes my weary muscles if there are any muscles left in my emaciated body.

I am not sure if I did got some sleep but I had felt some trembling in my body. It was the classic sign of having a low blood sugar considering that I had some cassava which is a pure carbohydrates.

I also experimented before with solely eating a high fiber bread learning that it would make you full for longer, it is not true. Diets must have some protein so that you can get a steady fuel of carbohydrates while your body processes the protein.

Eating Something With Sugar Fixes The Low Blood Sugar Attack

So essentially the carbohydrates is being digested along with the slow digestion process of the protein. The carbohydrates doesn't burn faster if you accompany it with protein.

But I knew in the back of my mind that I might get hungry fast again because of a pure cassava/carbohydrate meal. And so I did with a bang, I began to tremble or shake. So I called my mother and let her give me some food so that I could abate my low blood sugar attack.

Now I am a bit okay and I do not think it will come back because I had some salted egg with tomatoes and rice. I also had some salted fish but it wasn't crispy so I only had a bit.

I do not know if Diabetes is creeping or developing but I will not be surprised because of the powerful medicine that I am taking I am surely be getting a serious side-effect if not for my liver then it might struck my other organs. I am not and will be not ready for it so I could only pray to God to spare me the burden of having another illness.
