HAH! Finally Fuckin' Figured Out How to Implement Real-Time Profit Charts!

After a few days of mucking around trying to implement Chart.js into the upcoming v0.7.3 Steem-Roller.com release seems I finally managed to get the damn thing to update as a user bets. Some more time will likely be spent polishing this new functionality and adding some options on the options page to limit or disable the real-time profit chart for users that have lower end systems that may become bogged down by the constant rendering and display over a long period of bets.

Currently the v0.7.3 development and testing hotbed has a fully functioning 5 minute faucet and now a working real-time profit chart monitor. In addition to this on the fly chart maker I will likely add the option to share charts and bets with users in the trollbox as well as on other social media platforms. Still a fair bit of development and polishing needed on this particular functionality on the site, however it's a damn cool addition to the functionality currently offered and being planned for future release on the site.

Overall the nearly 3 year development cycle so far has been a pretty damn rough but rewarding one. Not only has my general coding and syntax knowledge blossomed but rather than sit back and wait for someone else to take the time to develop something I've now developed the skills in order to not only dream up ideas but also bring them into reality with code wizard skills. Certainly not the best coder in our STEEM community but the project being built here is a massive undertaking, nearly unrivaled by any other 1 man development team in the community. If all keeps moving forward at this rate we should hopefully see the release of v0.7.3 before the end of November assuming its features have been completed and tested fully. The mobile version of the new GUI desperately needs attention still as do the chat moderator commands and a number of odds, ends and options that have been brought to my attention as development has soldiered forward.

While the site is still very much in beta and is essentially an open to public beta testing phase gambling and investing is taking place to some extent, with roughly 1000 STEEM currently invested in the site ready to be won. Last time I checked the max win per a roll was something ridiculous like +300 STEEM... So if you're feeling lucky and want to come take a whack at bankrupting the site and its investors you're more than welcome to. Insanely fast deposits and withdrawls, an auto-betting bot, investing with up to 99x leverage and a trollbox full of wonderful degenerate gamblers and investors keeps things fast paced and exciting. Regardless if you're one to test your luck or not the site should have something to offer. The Original client has better mobile support at this time to to be honest neither client is anything to brag about when it comes to mobile or tablet rendering, certainly a work in progress. Expect bugs and things to crash sometimes, this is an open beta test of experimental under development software after all. I hold no responsibilty for lost funds, accounts or sanity due to glitches or errors but will certainly try my damndest to patch bugs as they are found and reported.
