The Rise of the Sovereign Individual - What This Means for the World and You

Ran into this on LinkedIn. The theory of "the sovereign individual"--as described in the book by the same title--continues to play out 20+ years after it was published.

This rising trend is important because 1. it indicates a future of evermore personal autonomy and societal fluidity. 2. it indicates the troubled future for large nation-states (particularly in the West), whose financial stability is increasingly threatened by the interplay of lost tax base and rising taxes--not to mention the social cohesion and security also increasingly strained by modern times/tech. And 3. it reveals the gaps to come for humanitarian needs, requiring others, perhaps, to step up to fill the void.

Knowing this, get your security and fiscal house in order.
