Did you know that Gymnasium is Greek for "exercising naked"?. Well now you know but that's by the way.

And Yes, you read that right. Sleeping nude helps burn more calories and you know what that means— helps your weight loss.
But before we dive into how this works exactly. Let's know what a Calorie is.

A calorie is a unit of energy. In nutrition, calories refer to the energy people get from the food and drink they consume, and the energy they use in physical activity.
Yes, that's about it.
I bet you've taught Calories to be a bad thing for you but it isn't.

When we eat and drink more calories than we use up, our bodies store the excess as body fat. If this continues, over time we may put on weight.

A source cited presents, as a guide, that an average man needs around 2,500kcal a day for a healthy body weight. However these values vary depending on age, size, health conditions and levels of physical activity, among other factors.

Now, to the sleeping Naked thing.
One of the reasons behind this is that your body temperature while you sleep is two degrees lower than your normal body temperature during the day. Because sleeping in pajamas keeps you warm, it can actually interfere with your body’s ability to drop in temperature in preparation for sleep. Sleeping naked, on the other hand, can give one a sense of being free, and affords your skin cooler ventilation.

As mentioned above, sleeping naked usually means sleeping cooler, and sleeping cooler can boost metabolism and aid in weight loss. A 2014 National Institute of Health( United States) study concluded that sleeping in colder temperatures increases your body’s amount of brown fat.In the study, those who slept in 66° rooms for a month had an increase in brown fat.

Moreso, basic science tells us that humans are poikilotheremic( warm blooded) animals. And what this means is that we can regulate our body temperature in response to our environment. For cool temperatures by increasing our brown fat, it leads to improvements in glucose metabolism and then we feel warm. These changes can be reversed following exposure to warmer temperatures.

Brown fat, also called brown adipose tissue, is a special type of body fat that is activated when you get cold. Brown fat produces heat to help maintain your body temperature in cold conditions.
The more brown fat you have, you're less likely to store belly fat and the slimmer you tend to be.

So, in the end, sleeping naked means sleeping under cooler conditions and this in turn triggers your body to burn "brown fat" to keep was and consequently cuts down on the stored fat in your body.
