Forest fire preventing Gel fluid.

We have seen worst forest fires all time.Millions of acres affected, for fighting the fire we spend millions of dollars. Human made fires, natural fires whatever it is, it has to be stopped at correct time and place. At least it has to be forbidden from spreading. Otherwise, one day we will go on looking for places where we can live, earth will be unfit for living or we are unfit to stay here, nature will eject us from here. Forest fires are also a cause to the problem in ecosystem.

Now engineers from Stanford university has found a gel like liquid to control the forest fire. They tested it, and it is working fine. Engineers have developed a cellulose based gel like fluid which is an excellent fire retardant.
With our experience we have the data about the fire risk zones for natural fire. For the unevitable human made fire we can determine the boundaries. This gel has to be applied on the vegetation, it will block the fire because this non toxic material will fence the fire from spreading.

Under the supervision of CalFire, the researchers performed test burns on a grassy roadside area near San Luis Obispo, California, to gauge the effect of a fire-retarding hydrogel. The images above show untreated (left) and treated (right) plots shortly after fire ignition.

The gel can be applied with normal agriculture equipment too, and it last long for months. We can switch from reactive mode to preventive mode in fire fighting with this gel. Applying this gel on vegetation on right time will keep the forest fire on its limits without spreading to unwanted areas.
