your articles are such high quality. Thank you for sharing. This theory applies to basically every transaction in life, but like you said it might apply more to one-off transactions. That perceived quality is so important when you want to make a sale. Cheers.

Thanks @magicmonk. Some transactions will be affected far more. For mass produced products we will have a reasonable idea of the quality of what we are buying. For example, standardised supermarket items.
