NASA Transformers concept:
NASA’s Innovative Advanced Concepts program is develop a way of bringing light into extreme environments using mobile robotic mirrors called TransFormers

In terms of scale, modeling suggests that you could power a rover 10 kilometers into a deeply shaded lunar crater with a single TF robot holding a mirror about 40 meters in diameter. Reflecting about 300 watts per square meter. Several of these rovers could help support an IOC Base.

This animation shows this concept in action. I aim to upload several such animations in the coming weeks.
