Cardboard Robots

Early this morning, having just finished reading a novel about magicians, I dreamed of seeing myself as a magician. I was younger, maybe in my mid-twenties, and was standing at the front of a vehicle that resembled a parade float, though one made of cardboard and robotic equipment. My younger self stood at the prow of this land ship, deep in concentration, holding his soot-stained hands up in a complex mudra, casting a magic spell, which may have been all that was animating the strange vehicle.

After seeing this, the dream changed scenes. I was in the unfurnished room of a house. One of the walls was brick, and it was coming apart due to the activities of a hidden force or entity behind it. Then a child entered the room with a robot friend whose exterior was a cardboard box. There was something wrong with the robot, so I opened up its box and began examining it, finding complex inner electro-mechanical works.

Cardboard robots are a weird thing to dream about. I think they represent the kind of technology that has the potential to transform the world. The magician. The child. Both possess great potential. Both are plugged into great reserves of energy. For some reason this reminds me of the future of technology.

Many or even most societal systems are mutant outgrowths of irrelevant artifacts. They're paper-based systems, governed by labyrinthine rules, designed for a world that no longer exists. Attempts to simply mirror these systems online has exposed their obsolescence. Building on this status quo has sent us towards a future where everything is hyper-complicated and nothing is easy. But this is not the only possible future.

Existing technology could cut right through giant blocks of unnecessary complexity, replacing it with something simpler and more sophisticated. Imagine a 2-click tax system. Why don't we have a 2-click tax system? The answer, I fear, is that we don't really want one.

There's a governmental dimension to this that's impossible. But average people could uniformly demand better systems and they choose not to. I feel like this might change in the years to come. Once people actually figure out what's feasible technologically, social change seems inevitable. Indeed, it's already happening.

The meaning of the hidden force behind the wall in my dream isn't clear. The force wasn't malevolent. The impression I got was of a hidden object stirring, preparing to reveal something of value. If cardboard robots represent technology, maybe the mystery behind the wall points to a technological revelation on the horizon. Whether this revelation pertains to the dangers or to the promise of technology remains to be seen.

The dream overall reminded me of Fixing Broken Robots, a short book I released many years ago. Time has rendered this work irrelevant, but its title remains relevant. Automation will fill the future with robots. Engineered obsolescence will ensure that ubiquitous robotics will perpetually be in need of repair. So the future may consist largely of fixing broken robots.

I might completely rewrite this book someday, keeping only the title.

The people doing V2K with remote neural monitoring want me to believe this lady @battleaxe is an operator. She is involved deeply with her group and @fyrstikken . Her discord is Battleaxe#1003. I cant prove she is the one directly doing the V2K and RNM. Doing it requires more than one person at the least. It cant be done alone. She cant prove she is not one of the ones doing it. I was drugged in my home covertly, it ended badly. They have tried to kill me and are still trying to kill me. I bet nobody does anything at all. Ask @battleaxe to prove it. I bet she wont. They want me to believe the V2K and RNM in me is being broadcast from her location. And what the fuck is "HOMELAND SECURITY" doing about this shit? I think stumbling over their own dicks maybe? Just like they did and are doing with the Havana Syndrome.

They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years.

What would you say while having a gun pointed at your head from an undisclosed location? Have people find it? My hands are tied while they play like children with a gun to my head. Its a terrorist act on American soil while some yawn and say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth? https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism
