Because that is not an illness. And there is no such thing as death. Or at least not as how you think. Death is only exist in the physical level. But you are not physical. Only the physical, human body, in which you currently are. But that is not really you. The physical, human body will die, but the real you will not die. What you think is death is really a transition. You will continue to exist. And you already existed even before you was born on Earth. And there is proof for this. There are thousands of NDEs (Near-Death Experiences).

There are literally thousands of NDEs on that website, which proves that this statement is true. Currently (2019.11.03, 11:45 CET) there are 4717 NDEs on that website, and it is constantly/regularly updated.
Some people even have multiple NDEs, and some people even wrote a book (or more) about their NDE(s).
