Could we be the creation of some other intelligent lifeforms viz aliens?

No doubt, DNA is the most complex molecule so far in this whole universe (as far as we know). It is the base of all the lifeforms found on this planet. Some scientists believe that it was not possible for DNA to be created from the mixture of various types of molecules and compounds without any active support of some intelligent system.It means DNA was created by some intelligent thing that seems very mysterious.
If we believe on this theory then we have to come to the conclusion that we are the creation of something unknown to us. Perhaps that may be God or some alien lifeforms. We know nothing about it. However, question arises:
Could we be the creation of some other intelligent lifeforms viz aliens?
