Blockchain technology introduced cryptocurrencies which are seen as the alternative of fiats by some people. It may be possible one day that cryptos may replace fiats and become the only method of all forms of money transactions. But, can cryptocurrencies serve all the purpose related to transaction of money and provide the same flexibility, stability and reliability as fiats provide?

It's still 'too confusing' for the general public to utilize. Once people become more familiar with the technology, or once it's made 'easier' to use it will have a much greater chance.
