Excellent write up - I especially like the Hedge section.
I like to sell Steem as an investment to people as a hedge against mainstream social media - the more people they annoy, the more people should head to Steem.

On Steem, your followers and your interactions with them are stored on a blockchain and no single entity has the power to cut you off of them like on centralized social media/digital publishing platforms. Also, no single entity has the power to demonetize you.
