This is a recent post on a 2019 study that considered crime rates and fatal officer-involved shootings. Rather than making assumptions and jumping to conclusions, you can examine the data (and arguments made on both sides of issues - check out letters associated with studies) and reach your own conclusions. You may not be getting the full story from the media. Improving police use of force training and protocols is vitally important. Funding racial grievance peddlers less so. Anyways, check out the scientific paper and the responsive letters in the ongoing debate. This issue did not start with Michael Brown and is not informed by imbeciles going around saying, "hands up, don't shoot."
