Some interesting art I came across on a walk one morning

I saw a photo on Instagram looking down this alleyway and saying where it was so I had to go check it out, the shot I saw on instragram was brilliant, my shot not so much so, but I am sharing it anyway. its not too bad considering it was early morning and still fairly dark, and I as usual did not have a tripod with me, but for an ISO of 2500 it came out kind of OK

The alley way had quite a few pieces on display and I will share a few of them in this post, Starting with this piece, which I shared a cellphone shot of in an actifit post recently, probably my favorite piece there, maybe because this was before I was heading to work, and been so busy and a little stressed trying to get all the paperwork I need together recently.

And another piece in this alleyway, I did not note who the artist was or artists, but therer were some very cool pieces.

This piece made me think of the Doctors appointment I had upcoming when I did this walk, luckily they did not use calipers ot measure my stomach :)

THis shot was at 8000 ISO I am so impressed that I can get usable shots at that high and ISO withmy camera

I thought this next piece was interesting and I did get a little creative with the edit of this one to enhance the light and look of it

There is an entrance to an office building and thats about it, well maybe two I dont think there were any shops there

Haha, you have had to show me how well your Sony handles ISO 8000 ;)
Mine was at ISO 1600 yesterday and there was much noise in the photos - I cannot see any noise in your images.

The first sad or depressed guy reminds me so much on me this morning when I read the first emails, but most I like the sculpture with the beaver with your editing.

OK, now you have convinced me to try it myself when I have time, but I still don't think my camery can handle ISO 8000 as well as yours, because your photo looks great.

A hot morning !COFFEEA is very important for me to wake up, but later on a cold !BEER would be nice to have 😉

its worth trying out on one of my previous cameras I never went above 800 ISO

I have just seen that I have shot some photos with ISO 6400 last year when I photographed inside a church without my tripod. These photos are not that bad - I'll post them tonight, but I think I really should make a test :)

I look forward to seeing them, I know for one shoot i did which was indoors in bad light for a charity event some shots were at 12800 ISO and there the noise was starting to get pretty bad

I think such noisy photos might only be useful if you have to prove something or so, but I'll try to test my camera to the highest ISO level which is 40,000 I think.

I think mine goes to 51200 but extended setting takes it to 204800 which I would never try

Mine could go up to 102,400 - I have just had a look and now I know I can even go down to 50. I'll try this too as soon as I have time and feel like it :)

They say it will rain on Monday, this might be a good day for me to do some tests, although I'm quite sure that I'll stay at 100 mostly.

If they meant our weather they have been very right - we have sunshine and blue sky. I have slept too long and missed the sunrise.
Then I have been driving around for a while and came back home with nothing, but the weekend is not over yet ;)

I have just come back from my second tour and now I have got an iced waterfall and a bit of a sunset at our lake, but there were no clouds and so I couldn't see much of the sunset ... but I'll see more when I import them ;)

We have had a nice Spring day today in the middle of the Winter ;)

I think these shots will have to wait, because on the first view I didn't really like them. I will let them have a rest on my hard drive and have a look at them again after a while. ;)
Maybe the shots I got this morning will be better - I do hope so, because I had to drive quite a while for them ;)

I know what you mean I have some photoshoots like that as well, when you get them on your PC there not quite what your hoping for and you leave them hoping when you look at them a while later so see them in better light

Yes, that's right - they have to wait like a good steak has to hang and age for a while to get better ;)
Well, my Sunday began at 3 in the morning and most of the day I've been sitting in my car driving south, but I have got some decent sunrise shots, I think, although there were many clouds, and maybe I'll even go for some sunset shots too ;)

Hope your Sunday is as nice as mine 👍🙂 and that you are not as tired as I am already at 1pm 😉

Hi @detlev, I have slowed down a bit using !BEER I was over doing it LOL

I think I have once or twice got extra votes possible from using #POSH, but that's rare so I guess my answer is no not really it doesnt work for me
