The Essentials
Some of my favorite aspects of using my camera and the accessories or parts that I used to film. The Rokinon 35mm Cinema Lens is a great starter lens that offers decent quality for the price. Not the best lens in the world for filmmaking but decent enough for the price. The Samsung T% 1TB SSD is amazing for filming. It has the speed I need and I have never once run out of storage spacer while filming. Lastly a variable ND filter. Having these is so helpful and important. It allows me to control my framing and lighting even more and allows me to get the exact shot that I want.

Oh man. The Rokinons. So fast and so, so soft wide open. :) Definitely a fun set to play with. I actually quite like the dreaminess of soft lenses. Quite nice stopped down.
Yea they are decently fast lenses but yes very soft wide open. I never use them wide open thought because of this reason. I usually don't go faster than maybe T3.5 or so. For the price, they are a good entry lens and get the job done. Hopefully will be able to sell them and upgrade to sigmas or the xene lenses in the future.
