People in China are now REQUIRED to have their Faces Scanned for Phone Services

China enforces new rules requiring all who register for new mobile phone services to now have their faces scanned along with the usual of presenting an identification card and having a photo taken. The government says its to protect citizens on the internet; but we can reason that it’s to track, monitor, and manipulate.

I live in China and I can vouch for this. Furthermore, it is not new. This has been standard operating procedure for two years now, even if it only recently became law.
