I Saw This Robot Floor Cleaner At The Mall Today

At the Toronto Eaton Center I had the pleasure of seeing this device in action. It was just like a Roomba vacuum, except on a much higher level of sophistication.

I know that there is lots of talk about robots taking our jobs, and I suppose that this machine contributes to this also. What was interesting is how amused and intrigued the people at the mall were when they saw this robot cleaner.

Many people were taking selfies, videos and photos with it. Even kids were waving at it and playing hide and seek or tag with it.

The fact that it can bring such amusement to people fascinating. The future sure is arriving fast. You never know what’s next, but it’s sure to astonish and delight (or scare) us all.
