Not sure if this is on topic... but maybe it's a good place to put this comment anyway

As a hobby, I started answering questions on StackExchange ... It was lots of fun, and I enjoyed the smug feeling of superiority at getting an answer "Right" ...

However, it would have been infinitely more rewarding if I was answering those questions and getting paid in Steem rather than simply handing over my intellectual contributions to a corporation.

I think I've seen a Q/A DApp in the Steem section of The State of the DApps ... but I would certainly spend all day answering questions if a duplicate StackExchange existed for the Steem blockchain.
