Technology has been existing right from the ancient days, but one fact about technology is that it keeps advancing the more. The recent technology that surface in the 21st is blockchain (a technology that talks about decentralization). The knowledge and the scope of blockchain make it looks like the biggest innovation that have occurred so far in this century. The blockchain technology so far has brought some positive effective in different sectors like healthcare, gaming, FinTech, internet and so many other fields. One thing that we have to capture is that blockchain technology has so many packages which will benefit the world at large.

The Cartesi is a project that is aiming to revolutionize the web system utilizing blockchain technology. In a clear view, the Layer-1 only centered on implementation of blockchain protocol itself, Layer-2 centered on smart contracts that runs data and computation as possible off-chain. These two layers are important, in short, they have their own part to play, but there should be room for more. This is where Cartesi idea come to play, they have come up with a new idea that will solve the challenges which Layer-1 and Layer-2 could not solve (computation and scalability issues).

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF CARTESI

The Cartesi Nodes is an infrastructure that will provide dApp builders with a reproducible machines. The reproducible machine is a place where a large scale verifiable computations can be run. Cartesi will integrate this verifiable computations into smart contracts. This system is going to provide strong conflict resolution. So in case there is any dispute that arises during computation can be adjusted inside Cartesi Machines with just a little token. The Cartesi Nodes will allow those that build dApps to run native code which will leverage a full processing power. The dApps developers can run an off-chain components under a Linux operating system. This is the only system that will make the developers or other users to accomplish a larger and complex computations.

Precisely, Cartesi is a powerful innovation. This platform will make it possible for dApps developers to use even the existing software, tools and all the existing programing language in an off-chain components provided by Cartesi. Furthermore, the dApps developers will enjoy freedom by selecting the best run-time environment to host their dApps and won't encounter any limitations as the case has been in the previous system.

Cartesi brings about a decentralized web where people will be able to do computation right from their own jurisdiction. Individuals users will be in control of their data and manage the computing power by themselves. This is another opportunity to make money in the sense that individual users can rent out their unused computing power out to the needed users and cash some money in.
The Cartesi project will pave way for decentralized data scientist marketplaces through their verifiable computation system. There will be enough job to those that can do an optimization tasks by performing computation and got compensated with a token.
Cartesi will make it possible for developers to build compile a decentralized game (dApps games) using a decentralized Linux system.
The Cartesi infrastructure will be useful in FinTech ecosystem. The infrastructure will make it possible to execute and read a complex data in an easy way.

The previous system make us to understand that there are absence of repeating computations across all nodes. This makes computation become difficult and unrealistic, this enhance unscalable and restrictive environment. However, Cartesi has designed a blockchain infrastructure that will achieve consensus over intensive computations of complex data. This is a project we must not overlooked.
