Coinciding with the upcoming production start in the Shanghai Gigafactory 3, Tesla intends to increase the number of its service centres in China from 29 to 63 and the number of its fast-charging stations by 39% to 362 units, while simultaneously increasing the charging capacity of Model 3 with the latest software update.

Carmaker Volvo has aims to make the origin of cobalt traceable through the use of blockchain technology, and has now reached agreements with its two battery suppliers (CATL and LG Chem) as well as blockchain companies.
