When Robotics Collides with Artificial Intelligence to Meets Surgery; Robotic AI Surgery
You might have thought of the days when robots will be able to do things for you and you will have to worry no more? Well, those days are coming thanks to Robotics, Artificial intelligence and Blockchain technology.
Have you ever thought of how careful surgeons are when making incisions and performing surgical activities, this is because the life of a patient is in their hands and a simple mistake can lead to a complication which can go wrong and lead to death. The Operating room is always silent with a number of medical practitioners working together to make an operation successful but now it is getting different with the advancement of technology which has combined Artificial Intelligence with Robotic surgery.
What is Robotic Surgery?
Performing surgery using robotics is simply robotic surgery; in other words the process whereby a robot perform surgical process with the help a surgeon. Surgical tools are handed to the robot and surgeries are performed with the help of a surgeon
With Robotic Surgery, the surgeon make incisions on the patient (In some cases, some surgeons do not do it), the surgeon insert miniaturized surgical instrument into a robotic hand coupled with a 3D camera that is used to view the surgical process. The surgeon views the process through the 3D camera and gives the robot sets of instructions which are translated by the robot. The surgeon with the help of master controls can determine the movement of the robot and the commands given to the robot is taken into action on the patient’s body.
When AI robotics Hits Surgery
Do not forget that Artificial intelligence is the study of the ability of machines to reason and perform cognitive functions which includes recognition, identification, solving problem and decision making while utilizing codes and algorithms.

Unlike Robotic Surgery, what do you think AI will do to the world of Surgery? Instead of the surgeon to control the movement of robots, the machine should be able to scan patients, thinks and act without the intervention of humans. In other to do this, AI requires a strong visual sensor as well as a bio sensory sensor so as to diagnose patient correctly without the help of a surgery. In this procedure, the AI will be able to provide warnings, guidance and advice to surgeons who are watching during the procedure.
With the help of Artificial Intelligence, the robot can learn from the data of previous surgical procedures so as to perform future surgeries.
What do you think about the future of Artificial Intelligence in the medical world?

I'm seriously asking myself what will be humans useful for in the future. Who will work and what?
I think in ancient Roman Empire many people weren't working. They were living of the work of their slaves (robots?), and selling their (up)votes to the politicians... "Passive incomes"
That way of seeing it is quite similar to what I think of the Roman system lol, that of calling it Passive Income I had not thought about it.
Reproduction :)
Reproduction? I had a nice post about it before:

I will go check this out. Thanks for the time on my post.
I just had similar worries @deathcross. Check out my latest comment
your remark about Roman Empire is simply excellent.
Thank you.
AI and Robotics is going to create a new world of technology. I am sure all sectors will be affected and all that will be remaining for humans is to make research, go on tours and monitor the activities of AI and Robots.
The world of technology is going into all sector. AI is the future and the future is now
I believe that for reasons of principle, I will always support the application of technological advances to health services, medicines and care for people. I prefer that before they use it for purposes of cohesion, control or non-peaceful military operations.
It is better when technology is used for health purposes than war but technology is also needed in wars as well.
Some time ago I heard something unfortunate, but I think it's true: "If you want to live in peace, prepare for war"
It seems that while humans are human, we will always be in danger of having wars with other members of our species.
What a wonder in technology. A world where robots and AI are becoming the major focus. Technology will never seize to amaze me as it is changing from sci-fi to reality.
Fictions are becoming reality with science. The world is also focussing on the blockchain, health vaccines, aerospace and a lot more.
With the level of technological innovation and rise in it, very soon humans will be travelling to space as though they are travelling inter states. Also, human may to just seat and let robots handle everything while we enjoy the good of life.

Dear @mojubare
I trully love topics related to AI. Especially if posts are not all dark and gloomy, but showing some advantages of using AI in the future.
I'm afraid that if people will not be 'needed' then they will have to worry even more. Humans need purpose. Need to have reason to live. Otherwise more often than not - we (humans) tend to commit suicide.
Imagine if one day in the future there would be over 10 billion people and most of them wouldn't have to work. Wouldn't have to stay in the office and would spent all days doing ... whatever.
This world would turn out to be overcrowded 24/7. Not having purpose in life, feeling that noone needs us and seeing crowds of people wandering around everywhere? Sounds like a nightmare heheh
Anyway back to main topic: I also believe that AI will revolutionize health sector and I'm looking forward to see more succesful projects in that field.

Humans will have things to do, things like travelling to space with Bezos and Elon Musk, working on future researches, watching movies directed by AI and Bots, managing bots, growing other planets. There are a lot of things to do :)
Thanks for the read
Travelling could be a very good job for us all. Just enjoy the new world of space.
Until now, robotics and AI have been supportive to doctors and to medicine in general.
In the area of surgery, these robots also support human doctors.
But you know what?
This would mark a milestone in the history of medicine. But the ethical aspects that this technology must face prevent its applicability.
It will take many years until we see surgery without human assistance. Could you imagine it?
