Now I finally have my cover too! – Adesso finalmente ho anche io la mia cover!

Hello everyone and happy Sunday,

Today I thought of creating my cover for the blog on Hive.

It was very simple. First of all, I thought about what are the themes that I like to talk about and that I want to share with the community:

• Chemistry;
• Biology;
• Gardening;
• Photography;
• Travels;
• ...

Then, I tried to make small stylized images that represented the themes described above.
To do this, I used a vector graphics software (Adobe Illustrator, because that's what I know best, but there are others too). You can either start from scratch, or start from a photo and trace the main details with the "Pen" tool.

Here is an example for the camera:

I added the colors I liked most (shades of green). Here is the example for a molecule:

The last step is to create a new file of adequate size and add the various images created. For Hive the optimal dimensions are 2048 x 512 pixels, for Peakd they are 1920x240 pixels.

Oggi ho pensato di ideare la mia cover per il blog su Hive.

È stato molto semplice. Come prima cosa, ho pensato a quali sono i temi di cui mi piace parlare e che voglio condividere con la community:

• Chimica;
• Biologia;
• Giardinaggio;
• Fotografia;
• Viaggi;
• …

Successivamente, ho cercato di realizzare delle piccole immagini stilizzate che rappresentassero i temi sopra descritti.
Per fare questo, ho utilizzato un software di grafica vettoriale (Adobe Illustrator, perché è quello che conosco meglio, ma ce ne sono anche altri). È possibile sia partire da zero, sia partire da una foto e ricalcare i dettagli principali con lo strumento “Penna”.

Ecco un esempio per la macchina fotografica:

Ho aggiunto i colori che mi piacevano di più (tonalità del verde). Ecco l’esempio per una molecola:

L’ultimo step è quello di creare un nuovo file di dimensioni adeguate e aggiungere le varie immagini create. Per Hive le dimensioni ottimali sono 2048 x 512 pixels, per Peakd sono 1920x240 pixels.
