Arianespace SA is launching TIBA 1 and Inmarsat 5 communication satellites on a Ariane 5 rocket from Kourou, French Guiana.

Payload mass is about 9'600 kg.

Version 1 surely looks like a case for the scrap yard. Not to worry. Elon had a second version built simultaneously. It will probably push back launch dates a bit but Starship was already ahead of schedule. Mk 3 is already in the works.
