How Architects Analyze the Site's Context
The STEAM engine aims to bring STEAM education curriculum closer to adolescence and encourage creative self-expression. Therefore, taking advantage of the existing proximity to the elementary school and day care, the selected project location will create a strong relationship to the other educational branches.

In order to emphasize the connection to the existing buildings, a strong x-axis is created. The main entrance will face the daycare to the east and the gathering area will face Pennsylvania avenue on the west.

The landscaping design of the site is a reflection of the buildings orientation at a 45 degree angle. The pedestrian side walks are placed near the front of the building and while the parking is placed towards the daycare's existing parking.
