Wenn die Gerüchte zum Apple VR Headset stimmen, dann wird das Apple Headset sowohl das bisher beste als auch das teuerste VR-Headset am Markt.
Leaks zufolge soll es ein radikales, extrem schlankes Design verflogen, und extrem leicht sein. Sogar der Akku soll extern sein, damit noch mehr Gewicht eingespart werden kann.
Die Idee mit dem externen Akku, wenn es stimmt, wäre genial, man würde den Akku dann am Gürtel oder in der Hosentasche tragen und mit einem Kabel verbinden, um Gewicht einzusparen. Das Headset wäre aber sonst vermutlich wireless, aber wahrscheinlich nicht standalone. Aber der Tragekomfort eines VR-Headsets könnte das erste Mal wirklich gut werden.
Bin schon sehr auf die Specs gespannt.
Mittlerweile hat auch Meta die Quest 3 geteasert, aber ohne konkrete Specs zu nennen. Es gibt die Befürchtung, dass die Quest 3 zwar 40% schlanker aber noch schwerer sein wird als die Quest 2.
Angeblich soll das Apple Headset 3000 Dollar kosten, was extrem heftig ist. Heute Abend werden wir mehr wissen.
Denkt ihr, dass Apple mit einem guten aber extrem teueren Headset VR retten kann oder wird es noch einige Generationen brauchen, bis VR massentauglich wird?

Can Apple save the Metaverse?
If the Apple VR headset rumors are true, then the Apple headset will be both the best and most expensive VR headset on the market to date.
According to leaks, it will have a radical, extremely slim design, and be extremely lightweight. Even the battery is said to be external to save even more weight.
The external battery idea, if true, would be awesome, you could wear the battery on your belt or in your pocket and connect it to a cable to save weight. But the headset would otherwise probably be wireless, but probably not standalone. But the comfort of wearing a VR headset could be really good for the first time.
I'm already very curious about the specs.
Meanwhile, Meta has also teased the Quest 3, but without giving specific specs. There are fears that the Quest 3 will be 40% slimmer but even heavier than the Quest 2.
Supposedly, the Apple headset will cost $3000, which would be an extremely hefty price tag. We'll know more tonight.
