Artificial intelligence and its scope, again another work of the human in the form of a robot.

What I mean.

Man continues to perfect his creation, artificial intelligence conducts a symphony orchestra.

In a perfect combination of musical art and robotics or as we now know artificial intelligence. A robot conducted a symphony of musicians from an orchestra during the live performance of the opera, which ended up being a great concert, particularly I must congratulate all the musicians for following very well the movements of the hands of this machine during this event.

The presentation was held in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, the piece of music was performed for seven minutes.

The following video is not the one that took place in the United Arab Emirates, it is a presentation at the New National Theater, Tokyo

Android Opera "Scary Beauty" - Keiichiro Shibuya at New National Theatre, Tokyo

But from the third minute, you can hear how this Robot interprets with his voice, part of the opera that the Japanese composer Keiichiro Shibuya wrote, it is worth seeing so that you can make your own conclusions.

This robot that bears the name of (Alter 3) was created by the Osaka University robotist Hiroshi Ishiguro and the artificial life researcher at the University of Tokyo, Takashi Ikegami. The couple had been working for four years in this effort that combines their respective fields.

Artificial intelligence is radically transforming the way we live, work, travel and do business in the 21st century, it is well known and I think so, that robots and AI will help people to better perform their tasks, reducing the probability of human error, this technology continues to advance very giant steps and this technology is a work or a creation of course of the human; However, it is necessary to wonder when the AI can completely overcome the human?
We are forging our own artificial destiny, with the advancement and technological evolution will be many benefits, but it is also possible that the cost we will have to pay is very high.

By this I don't mean a monetary cost, I mean a cost of humanity itself, the increase in automation and smart technologies promise radical changes in society that naturally translates into the sphere of sustainability in many ways. For example, 59% of manufacturers are already using robotics to help them in their processes, which means less participation of the human workforce.

From this presentation of robotics with artificial intelligence in musical art conducting an orchestra, my question is:

Will it be that in the not too distant future we will also see how the orchestra musicians are replaced?

The other question is: Do we want to replace human musicians? The fact that chess-computers exist doesn't mean I don't want a human chess partner anymore.

Hello dear @lanzjoseg, great read once again brother.

Will it be that in the not too distant future we will also see how the orchestra musicians are replaced?

When we talk about this issue, the great concern remains that, the replacement of the labor force by humans with machines and the concern is very valid.

To be honest, my opinion is that it takes a lot for musicians to be replaced by machines, in my opinion the interpretation of an artist (human) in some song is something very difficult to match, I mean the facial expressions and movements that They give it a unique touch depending on the artist that interprets. That's my opinion.

Friend @fucho80 that workforce in other more developed countries is already happening.
We do not know how long it will take for that to happen in Venezuela.

Hi @tiotano

Great point friend, and we only know that humans do.

Live the good things and the unique moments.

I believe that everything that a human can do, in the long run, an AI will be able to do it (either by simulation, learning or real intelligence development), but that does not take away the desire to have humans to interact. I can play a computer game against the machine, but also against a human player, in fact I have pleasant memories of playing some games with my younger relatives a long time ago, those moments of sharing are sweet things.

Returning to the idea of AI, I personally support its development and believe that exploring new fields for its application is something positive in itself.

AI is changing the world and this is a plus to the science world. The world in the next 50 years will be a better place.

Hi @futurekr

If it is possible that in 50 years it will be a better world.
I hope and wish I could be alive to see that better world

hi dear @lanzjoseg

I believe that in the future we will be replaced by machines, relegating human tasks of supervision and control. What worries me is that these technologies make humans paradoxically isolate us more, let's seek more interaction with machines or AI and less with human beings. This can lead to destruction, because little by little we are losing values as basic as communicating.

Hi @reinaldoverdu

Communication is something very important in the development of humanity .. I hope that does not disappear with the advances of the AI

My first impression was: WOW!

But then seeing it well, the scene looks quite gloomy.
That robot conducting the human orchestra!

When AI creators want to impress the world, they always seek to address areas that belong to the Fine Arts, as well as medicine and health.

The Fine Arts are the maximum expression of human talent. These are the things that distinguish us from other living beings on the planet and perhaps it will also be what stands out from other extraterrestrial races (when the time comes).

I don't know how to explain it, but seeing this robot caused a strange sensation in me.
