Microsoft and Ford solving traffic

Microsoft and Ford collaborated creating a technology inspired by quantum computing, with which they designed an algorithm capable of greatly improving the traffic of a simulated city.

Ford didn't really use a quantum computer, just a normal computer that ran a quantum computer algorithm, reused for use in classic hardware, what they did was create a simulation with 5,000 cars running, each car calculated its best route by itself, taking into account the position and knowing the established routes of all other cars.
