My Reply to Weekend-Engagement Topics: Week 188

Hi!

This is the first time I am writing an article for the #weekend-engagement and I am rather shy about it, but wish to overcome this state and open myself, hoping it will help others in here decide to share their experiences with us.

I have chosen to go for this Q of @galenkp : "Are you triggered more by visual stimuli or by touch and feel? Explain your answer with examples. (Bonus points for posts about whether you like the light on or off during sex.) Remember to use your own photos."

For many years, I have been triggered by mostly visual stimlui. When I've started working for an Agricultural company, during the training evaluations, they told me that my filters of sorting and perceiving reality are highly visual - about 72%. And that was when I decided to work on myself to exercise my auditory system more, in order to remember more stuff I am being told. At the last evaluation between visual and auditive filters, the results were 54%-46%, which is pretty good.
So why am I telling you this?
Because, since I've been working on my auditory practices, it seems I get quite triggered by female voices, not just my gf's voice.
Touch has been a sensitive part of myself also, for many years. I refused to get hugged or hug someone, even my mother. Trauma was present. I have been working on that too. I can't say that touch triggers me on and I am now...sometimes...finding it hard to sleep in my gf is hugging me/spooning during the night.

But! The Kinesthetic goes with feeling....Let's say I'm having a date and that girl touches me shortly ... the gesture will stay in my mind for a long time...thought (because of past trauma) my first reaction is reluctant. :) the second one is: desire....mostly

So, I like watching....beauty, kindness, happy people, gestures, etc.
Those all turn me on. They create a full story in my head. Perfumes also.
That...frottage is something that drives me on the edge of desire sometimes also....

There's a saying for men that just like to watch, that my close ones like to use: "All you'll ever get is watching..."
In my case, I have to say that I've been loosing a few trains, trams, helicopters, yachts, but I got the...gut to approach a beautiful heart and we are together for the last 10 years. Things are not perfect but we exist, we still have a pulse in the relationship and I adore her.

The lights are not usually on, though we have been using the environment a lot in the past...from wild beaches to forests.
We keep them on when we feel more naughty or when one of use wants to actually see the other one and enjoy the whole mechanics.
Usually, we keep a low light, not dark entirely.

Well, I don't have pics of this but I can show you a beach we once used while it got very warm in that August.

....ehhh - No/ That's not me. That's not my gf. or our 3rd wheel. It's just a friend facing the waves like we all do. Maybe some, daily.
