I Got Some Web 3.0 Sticky Music in My Ears

Hi!

How fascinating it can be to discover more and more related to Hive on a daily basis? I feel like a young child again, like a curious boy who wonders as he wandering around here.

1 Apple Store ;)

And it's just recently that I have discovered the Stick Up Boys, their loop store, their Hive posts, their YouTube channel and their production website, also.
And, for X-tra FUN!, their 3speak channel

So, I though to myself, that I'll just listen to some loops, relax, then went into some funkish grooves, and, finally, went on to deep-dive :)) into this piece which sounded so different from what I had been listening before. It has a nice vid by Francois Vautier, video artist and film maker. Feel free to look for him here.

Wanna swim with me in these waves and get a bit bit lost (and found) by captivating tunes of StickUpBoys? Just knowing them here, now, in Hive, it gives me an electrifying sensation, feeling like it's buzzing through the corridors of the Hive blockchain. I can almost hear them through all these serious articles around here, making some jokes and splashing some grooves on the walls of this ecosystem :D
Picture this: you're scrolling through the vast topics of today's Hive articles, searching for whatever gets your instant interest, and suddenly, you stumble upon a treasure trove of musical brilliance—StickUpBoys! Miow-miow!

So I've been clicking here and there, to find StickUpBoys everywhere, and noticed the minimalistic approach to electro music (which I love!). So, yeah! I took that piece above, from Youtube and went deeper into their sonic universe, and so I found myself fascinated by the sheer ingenuity of their compositions. And, yeah...there were the the melodies that enraptured me....but I have to admit it, it was the fusion of genres, the seamless blend of electronic beats with the soulful undertones of funk and electro that truly set StickUpBoys amongst the best composers/artists that I love in this area of electro and funk.

I was writing earlier in this article about this one particular track, "DNA", that caught my ear and I', just saying...it's not one of their best but it's so catchy in its simplicity that you can't give it up until the end and then you want more. With each note, I felt myself drawn into a world where love knows no bounds, where nostalgia intertwines with passion, and where every beat resonates with the rhythm of the heart. Here's the link to it again, just in case you've missed it.

Let's take a closer look at this musical masterpiece: "DNA" spins a tale of profound love that transcends the constraints of time and space. The lyrics weave a tapestry of nostalgia and longing, painting a picture of a bond so strong it defies the very fabric of reality. And with a BPM of 136 and key of G minor, the song pulses with an energy that is both exhilarating and soul-stirring.

The mention of DNA symbolizes the unbreakable link between them, while the references to speed and movement evoke a feeling of exhilaration and passion. Genres: Chill-out, Electronic, Synth-pop, Pop, Indie.
Moods: Nostalgic, Passionate, Uplifting, Energetic, Longing.
Themes: Romance, Timelessness, Bond, Nostalgia, Adventure.
Instruments: Synthesizer, Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano.
Vocals: Low/Mid pitch.
Subgenres: Downtempo, Lounge, Ambient, Dream pop, Electropop. (Btw, I haven't heard this kind of electropop in the last 20 years since I first visited some clubs in Paris :D)

But I think that StickUpBoys are purveyors of electronic bliss and also they're pioneers of a musical movement here in Hive that celebrates diversity of genres and creativity in Hive. Why do I think this? Because I have read some articles written by them that come from different years, I have seen NFTs with them, GIFs, records on Rising Star game and many more things. So, for me, who I am newer to Hive, it's obvious they have managed to change, shape and offer this ecosystem lots of value. From chill-out vibes to infectious funk grooves, their repertoire spans across a spectrum of genres, offering something for every discerning ear.
So that's why I also think that them and other music producers/artists/singers around here gave a lot of input to us through their music and through their unwavering commitment to the Hive ecosystem. Alongside fellow musicians from RisingStar game and Hive Open Mic, they contribute to the funky environment of the Hive music scene, enriching the community with their talent and passion. Through initiatives like the sensitive music alley, they breathe life into the digital landscape, fostering a space where creativity thrives and artistry flourishes. I dare to think so.

In essence, StickUpBoys aren't just musicians out there, in real life, Web 2.0m but they're guardians of a musical renaissance in WEB3.0, ushering in a new era of innovation and expression on the Hive blockchain. So, whether you're a seasoned aficionado or a curious newcomer, I urge you to dive headfirst into the sonic wonders of StickUpBoys and let their music ignite your soul. (@stickupboys
/ @stickupmusic ) After all, in a world brimming with possibilities, why settle for anything less than extraordinary?

Thanks for reading!
