I finally realized that school monitoring is very important.

Hello

I'm back with you in this beloved community. I hope you're all well and keeping up your spirits.

Speaking of school monitoring, there's a lot of monitoring currently being done in schools, and it's very necessary. From CCTV in the teachers' lounge, school gates, study rooms, and the school grounds, every student's actions are monitored to prevent bullying. Furthermore, teachers also receive special monitoring regarding attendance schedules and much more. Is it logical that students and teachers are still being monitored for their social media use?

I don't think it's necessary, because monitoring someone's social media posts is too private, so this action is considered a violation of the freedom to use social media. While the intention is good, it's excessive. If monitoring student and teacher posts on social media is necessary, it's sufficient to monitor only those related to the school. If the posts are detrimental to the school, the students and teachers can be immediately summoned and sanctioned.

In my area, parents play a crucial role in monitoring their children's activities on social media. Children are closely monitored by their parents regarding what they post and what websites they visit. We limit cell phone use for school-age children. Most schools in my area prohibit cell phone use, so they no longer need supervision.

These days, many people often share their problems on social media, whether they're at work, at home, or otherwise. They post about them, hoping everyone will know and comment. They'll be satisfied if their problems are widely known, making it easier for others to understand what they're going through. Honestly, I personally dislike this kind of publicizing personal problems on social media.

Perhaps involvement Schools monitor students' and teachers' social media posts to gain a deeper understanding of their character and disposition, and to educate them in good values from an early age. Many indecent videos are now uploaded by students who don't fully understand or even fully appreciate the impact of their posts. They focus solely on making their posts go viral and gaining a large following.

We also see many posts of teachers dancing and engaging in inappropriate behavior while wearing their uniforms and in school settings. This has a very negative impact on student education and diminishes a teacher's self-esteem and dignity. In short, how can we educate students to improve their character when teachers still behave like this? For some, dancing in front of the camera and exposing their curves is commonplace, but not in our area, as it is strictly prohibited in Islam, especially as teachers, which is considered insulting and even worse. This is different from those who don't wear uniforms.

Perhaps based on the following considerations, to maintain the image of teachers and also to uphold the ethics and decency of students, I believe school supervision is necessary. If necessary, it should be provided. Special emphasis or regulations approved by the Minister of Education that must be adhered to by all students and teachers, along with sanctions to deter those who violate them, are needed. If not, what will happen to the next generation? Will they lack morals? Perhaps this should be considered by all groups.

This discussion has opened everyone's eyes to the need for school oversight of student and teacher posts on social media. Hopefully, after this forum, there will be a discussion about this in parliament to save the nation's next generation. I would like to thank all the amazing people in this community who have thought about and raised extraordinary themes in each week and episode.

I assume in every area and in every region, parents have this authority to have a check on their children and their mobile phone activities until 18 of age. But it doesn't come under the jurisdiction of any school to monitor even school related posts as students/ teachers have the right to express themselves.

There is always a way to deal with this, for adults, I believe they are aware of what is good and what is not. The school has no right to monitor their activities on social media.

If it's a young student, the parents should handle it. Our right to privacy should be respected

Parents must play an important role in protecting their children and limiting their use of social media.
