Glucosamine: Is it Essential for the Body?

Most of the parents around me still think that when you are sick, you should immediately take medicine brand A or B and not anything else, even though, in my opinion; this is not always true. When you are sick, it's a good idea to find out clearly what caused it, then find a suitable medicine to find out on the Internet if you don't want to see a doctor first. Often the parents where I live believe that if you are sick, don't go to the doctor first, find a solution or medicine yourself after there is no new chance to the doctor for further examination, this is widely accepted by the community, especially in the villages because of the problem of costs and long distances to go to the doctor, not to mention the drugs prescribed by doctors are usually expensive.

For example, when people in my village experience pain or pain in their knees, they always recommend taking glucosamine, it is a prescription that is widely used or recommended by parents around me if they experience bone pain or pain, even though it is not necessarily the same bone pain experienced by one person as another.

In this post, I will share information about Glucosamine, its benefits for the body, and its side effects. If you want to read blogs about supplements or essential substances needed by the body, I cover many things, starting from essential amino acids, vitamins, whey, casein, etc. You can all read it in the link below:

Glucosamine is a supplement that is known to be able to treat pain in the bones or joints, one of the well-known ones around me is the Blackmores brand. Glucosamine itself is a natural chemical found in the human body, there are several types, namely glucosamine sulfate, hydrochloride, and n-acetyl glucosamine. The type of glucosamine sulfate is the most commonly used to treat pain in bones and joints.

Glucosamine has a contribution to producing other chemicals to form tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and other important substances in joints. Taking glucosamine supplements as recommended can help with joint pain, and help form cartilage and fluid in the joints, keep in mind that not everyone is suitable for taking glucosamine supplements because some are allergic to this substance like people who are allergic to seafood.

To be on the safe side, consult a doctor or pharmacist before using glucosamine supplements, especially for those who have had diabetes, asthma, hypertension, or other risky diseases. Glucosamine is advised not to be taken with other types of medications or supplements to anticipate drug interactions.
